- About the project: This study examines the implementation and assessment of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the development of Smart Green Cities (SGCs), focusing on the amalgamation of sustainability, intelligent technologies, and effective urban planning. The study delineates a systematic approach for developing a 3D BIM model for an SGC utilizing Autodesk Revit, emphasizing residential buildings, topographical integration, and the incorporation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The study emphasizes the potential of BIM in urban planning via improved project visualization, system integration, and centralized data management, while also recognizing obstacles related to cost, interoperability, and expertise needs. Essential findings indicate that the amalgamation of BIM with GIS enhances real-time spatial planning and data-informed decision-making, hence promoting the environmental and operational sustainability of SGCs.
